Most of us have grown up seeing the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. Today the MGM classic has been reinvented on stage with the Broadway musical Wicked. Wicked the Musical is the untold tale about the witches of Oz. Based mostly on the 1995 novel Wicked: The Life & Times of the Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, the story occurs previous to Dorothy Gale’s arrival to Oz. Wicked tells the story of 2 unlikely companions that develop to be the Glinda the Good Witch of the North and Wicked Witch of the West.
